A Legacy of Service

As a lifelong resident of the Victor Valley, I have a deep and personal connection to our community and its schools. I graduated from our district in 1979, following a path marked by my experiences as the child of a district teacher. My commitment to our educational system has continued through my children and now my grandchildren, who currently benefit from the educational opportunities provided by our district.

With 38 years of dedicated service in the Victor Valley Union High School District—culminating in my role as Assistant to the Superintendent for the last 18 years—I have gained extensive knowledge of district policies, procedures, and the nuances of the school board's role. After retiring in 2022, I remain actively involved as a classified substitute, demonstrating my ongoing commitment to the success of our students.

My experience working alongside teachers, classified staff, management, and the Board has equipped me to make informed decisions that prioritize the best interests of our students while considering the needs of all stakeholders. My primary goal is to ensure that our district fosters a safe and supportive learning environment, where every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for successful transitions to college, vocational training, the workforce, or military service upon graduation.
